Call for Papers

Written by Editor on March 19th in Czech Republic

The New Presence is published on a quarterly basis (February, May, August, November). We seek original and analytical papers which correspond to the issue’s selected theme. Our theme for the upcoming summer 2010 issue will focus on the current changes and happenings in the United States.

In light of the interdisciplinary nature of The New Presence, our past themes have delved into global affairs at large, Czech health care reform, the United States elections, and Central and Eastern Europe’s twenty years of democratic development since the fall of communism.

Every issue of The New Presence includes both regular sections (economics, culture) along side articles concerning specific topics in relation to the main and sub-themes of the current issue. The editor’s office accepts only original work that corresponds to the interdisciplinary focus of The New Presence magazine and also other works whose topics and focus must be consulted with the editorial staff in advance. Your articles/works should be 8 to 24 thousand marks (spaces included) in length. All submitted articles will undergo an editorial process of evaluation and subsequent authorization into publishing. The authors will be informed of acceptance or rejection of their works within two weeks of submission.
